Design Engineer (Tekla / AutoCAD / Structural Steel)

£60,000 - £65,000 + Progression + Flexible Working + 28 Days Holiday + Growing Business
Are you a Design Engineer with a background in structural or architectural metalwork and worked with in Tekla, Advanced Steel, or AutoCAD, looking to join a leading fabrication and installation specialist where you'll take full ownership of the design department, lead a growing team, and play a key role in driving forward a fast-paced and ambitious business through exciting, bespoke projects while stepping into a leadership position?

With a strong pipeline of work and a tight-knit team of designers already in place, they are looking for someone to take the reins of the design office and make it their own.
In the role, you will manage a team of five designers, lead design meetings, liaise with clients, allocate workloads, and produce and check design drawings using Tekla, Advanced Steel, or AutoCAD. You'll work closely with Project Managers, Fabrication, and Installation teams to ensure a smooth flow from concept to completion. The role is fully office-based in Luton, offering a sociable environment and the chance to make a real impact in a growing company.
