Are you a design engineer with experience using SolidWorks in a heavy engineering role, looking to progress your career and help save the planet at the same time, with one of the UK's leading recycling solution companies?

This company have been established for over 15 years and supply complete recycling solutions to any size of waste recycling plant around the globe, working with companies such as Myers Group and GreenMine in the USA. They are looking to bring in another member design engineer to join their growing team to help with their new static plant projects. They offer end to end consultation in both design and cost for their clients, helping to create a more sustainable future in the heavy engineering industry.

The ideal candidate will be able to get to work from the off, joining a hardworking design team based in their office in Omagh. You will be working Monday to Friday, designing bespoke recycling machinery to fit specifications for clients, using advanced 3D modelling to bring them to life. You will have the responsibility to identify and correct any mechanical issues throughout the design process.

This role would suit a design engineer with experience using SolidWorks in the heavy engineering industry who is looking to grow within a leading recycling solutions company, who provide the opportunity to progress your career and streamline the fight against climate change.

The role:

  • Use SolidWorks to design equipment in the heavy engineering and material processing industry
  • Undertake large stationary and mobile projects, independently
  • Design equipment using advanced 3D modelling with attention to detail
  • Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of materials, to support the manufacturing processes
  • Identify any mechanical issues throughout the design and manufacturing process, implementing effective solutions

The person:
