Telecoms Designer Role

With a strong understanding of the technical and business aspects of railway telecoms, including Operational and Station Information and Security Systems, the Telecoms Designer will participate in multi-disciplinary project teams. They will provide technical support, production expertise, and mentoring where required.

Responsibilities
  1. Produce deliverables in accordance with client and governance requirements for Telecoms and related projects.
  2. Design Telecoms projects to meet defined timelines.
  3. Understand and lead system interfaces between Telecoms and other disciplines such as Signalling, E&P, and Civils.
  4. Produce Telecoms designs and documentation maintaining consistent quality standards.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communication, Telecommunication, or equivalent qualification or relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge and experience in telecommunications engineering for railways.
  • Ability and desire to work successfully with multicultural teams across different countries with minimal supervision.
  • Good verbal and written English communication skills.
