Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Design Engineer to join the R&D team in Thame, Oxfordshire. You will work on full product lifecycle, creating mechanical and electro-mechanical designs from concept to manufacture, using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

You will produce detailed drawings, BOMs and collaborate with procurement and production to support sourcing, quality control and prototyping. 2+ years in a similar role and a mechanical engineering degree are preferred, with on-site work in

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in an Electrical or Mechanical Design Engineering role.
• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering / Design related subject is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical and electro-mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Produce detailed manufacturing drawings, assemblies and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Work closely with procurement and production to support sourcing and quality control.
• Support new product development through prototyping, 3D printing and collaboration with external suppliers.
• Collaborate with the design team to deliver bespoke designs for customer requirements.
