Overview

White Label Recruitment are excited to be working with an extremely reputable and market leading manufacturing company who are in search for CAD Engineer/Junior Design Engineer/Graduate Design Engineer. The company are a specialist provider of components for the material handling industry and are based in the Selby area.

Responsibilities

• Using Inventor / AutoCAD to produce accurate engineering drawings for manufacture / production
• Working with internal and external teams to provide engineering design support for sales, manufacture and installation
• Designing & detailing fabrications for manufacture, assembly and installation (e.g. conveyor chains, sprockets, sheet metal fabrications)
• Possible opportunity to visit sites to collect data for drawing production

Requirements

• Experience of using 3D CAD software (Ideally Autodesk Inventor but not a Must)
• Understanding and experience of design for manufacture - Essential
• Metallurgical understanding covering materials and heat treatments
• Ability/Experience to reverse engineer customer samples and/or data collected from customer sites would be advantageous
• Experience of using calibrated measuring instruments such as vernier caliper, micrometers etc would be a great advantage but not a must
• A background or experience in the materials handling industry is preferable but not essential
