ABOUT THE ROLE

As our company and projects expand, we have an exciting opportunity for a Design Engineer (Mechanical) to join our team in the Design Office. Reporting to the Chief Designer, the role involves working on primary whole-car design projects.

The responsibilities include:

  • Delivering innovative engineering solutions.
  • Designing advanced models and drawings of car components and chassis.
  • Structural analysis and optimization of car components for weight, reliability, safety, and stiffness.
  • Verifying designs through calculations, analysis, and CAE.
  • Ensuring design success from inception to production.
  • Collaborating with the Chief Designer and Engineers to improve and confirm designs for maximum car performance.
  • Applying material science and mechanical engineering knowledge to solve problems.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We seek a self-motivated team player with a positive attitude. The ideal candidate will be:

  • Educated to MEng or BEng in Motorsport, Automotive, or Mechanical Engineering, with good knowledge of 3D CAD, preferably CATIA V5.
  • Familiar with latest manufacturing techniques and materials, with attention to detail and practical problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and team-building skills, committed to delivering high-quality results.
  • Capable of working under strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar environment within a competitive industry.
  • Experience with structures and mechanisms, especially suspension, brakes, steering, and chassis.
