Job summary

Prospec Associates Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking a Manufacturing Design Engineer for a contract role outside IR35, onsite in Oxford. Qualifications

• Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent qualifications and experience.
• Experience designing and developing production tooling in aerospace or automotive sectors.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and their limitations.
• Experience using CAD software.
• Experience with PFMEA and Control Plan development leading to robust process development.
• Knowledge of equipment maintenance requirements and scheduling.

My client, an innovative company at the forefront of electric motor technology, requires a Manufacturing Design Engineer for a contract role outside IR35.This is an onsite role. The Manufacturing Design Engineer will develop and maintain my clients manufacturing process. The role will entail designing and introducing jigs, tools and fixtures to the shop floor for both NPI and existing production, improving production efficiency and ensuring that products conform to quality standards.
