Design Engineer - Leading Civil Engineering & Utilities contractor

SSA are currently recruiting for a multi-disciplined Civil Engineering contractor who specialise in heavy civils & utility works across the UK. They are looking for a Design Engineer to join their team working on wastewater projects including treatment works, pumping stations, combined sewer outflows, storage tanks, shafts, tunnelling and other schemes.

The role will involve preparing and checking detailed designs (including calculations, drawings, risk assessments etc); providing technical information and proposing alternative solutions; liaising with customers, suppliers, clients, and other third parties; and undertaking reviews of defects, method statements, & compensation events amongst other duties.
