Design Engineer / Graduate Design Engineer

£25,000 - £35,000 per annum

Our client is looking for a passionate Design Engineer or recent Graduate eager to break into the world of manufacturing? Do you have a strong foundation in SolidWorks and a creative eye for turning ideas into practical solutions.

Design Engineer Role and Responsibilities

• Creating and modifying 3D models and technical drawings using SolidWorks
• Supporting the design and development of new products and manufacturing components
• Collaborating with production, R&D, and quality teams to bring designs to life
• Participating in prototyping, testing, and design reviews
• Maintaining detailed documentation and design files

The ideal Design Engineer will have

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or related discipline
• Strong skills in SolidWorks (experience with assemblies and drawings)
• Enthusiasm for engineering, problem-solving, and continuous improvement
• A keen eye for detail and a proactive, hands-on attitude
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
