Job summary

Office Angels is recruiting a Design Engineer in Aberdeen to manage multiple live projects, develop system designs from customer specifications and fire strategies, and deliver final design documentation and CAD output. You will liaise with customers and stakeholders to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The role requires at least 1 year of related experience, a degree or apprenticeship, and proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and technical writing.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year's industry experience in fire alarm and AOV/smoke ventilation design.
• Degree qualification or completion of an engineering apprenticeship.
• Experience using AutoCAD for 2D design work.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop system designs from customer specifications and fire strategies.
• Produce design specifications and supporting technical documentation.
• Complete engineering calculations to validate system designs.
• Create and update detailed AutoCAD drawings.
• Maintain accurate design status information and project records.
