Proactive Personnel Ltd - Electrical Design Engineer

Proactive Personnel Ltd is currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer. We consider applications from experienced Graduates (B.Eng / M.Eng in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics) as well as seasoned Design Engineers.

All levels of experience will be considered.

For graduates, our client offers a challenging environment where you can gain experience across various disciplines in the design and commissioning of automated systems. For experienced engineers, you will work closely with customers to solve complex engineering challenges in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Electrical design and development of automation systems
• Robot and control system programming and configuration
• Creation of technical documentation
• Adherence to product design standards
• Following departmental design procedures
• Providing internal technical support for products

Qualifications and experience:

• Substantial experience (3-5+ years) in designing electrical systems in an industrial setting
• Experience in designing electromechanical systems (e.g., robotics, production automation)
• Experience working as part of a team on medium to large engineering projects
• Extensive experience designing electrical panels for industrial systems
• CAD experience, preferably with AutoCAD
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards (IEC61010, NPA79, etc.)
• Flexibility in a changing environment

This is a permanent position with an immediate start for the successful candidate.

Salary range: £28,000 - £51,000 per annum.
