Design Engineer (Electrical)
Plymouth, Commutable from: Tavistock, Ivybridge, Saltash, Yelverton
Up to 59,280 per annum, dependant on experience + Bonus + Early Finish on Friday + Pension + Extra Benefits

Excellent opportunity for an individual with experience in electrical control systems design to join a market-leading, international company.

The company is a well-established, highly regarded manufacturing firm in the Plymouth area with global sites. They are renowned for product quality and being a progressive employer. Due to growth, they are seeking a Control Systems Engineer to join the design team.

In this role, you will work closely with the maintenance team, responsible for designing and drawing electrical circuits and control panels, safety circuits, motion control, PLC & HMI programming, and system integration into manufacturing robots and standalone machines.

The Role:

1. Design control panels, identify obsolete components, source alternatives, design modifications for upgrades, implement continuous improvements, analyze downtime faults, causes, and create effective PPM and TPM activities.
2. Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm, with a 3:30pm finish on Fridays.
