Job summary

Belcan is recruiting a Design Engineer in Filton, Bristol for a 12-month Inside IR35 contract with a hybrid work model. The role focuses on wing structure definition, structural sizing, and interface coordination using Catia V5/V6.

You will generate 3D models and 2D drawings to support installations and project requirements. Preferred candidates will have Catia V5/V6/3DX experience and familiarity with aerospace wing structures, plus proficiency in MS Office tools.

Qualifications

• Catia V5 or Catia V6/3DX experience required.
• Experience with wing structure definitions and related sizing.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Work on wing structure definition to structural sizing, interface and project requirements Toolsets.
• Support CAD design solutions and ensure proper interfacing between wing components and systems.

Inside IR35 - Hybrid in Filton, Bristol BS34

Belcan are hiring for a Design Engineer with Catia V5 or V6 experience to work on Aircraft projects in our Filton, Bristol office.

You will be working on wing structure definition to structural sizing, interface and project requirements Toolsets.

This is an initial 12 month Inside IR35 contract supporting our end client based from our onsite offices in Bristol. Hybrid working model.

Key Requirements

• CAD capability to support parametric model generation and update
• CAD capability to support 2d drawing generation for detail parts and installations
• Understanding of modelling methodologies and processes
• Ability to interpret stress sizing data and project requirements to support CAD design solutions
• Interface management between wing structural components and systems
• Microsoft office applications – excel, ppt etc.
• Experience of Catia V5 or Catia V6/3DX

Preferred Experience

• Research and Technology or R&D project experience
