An excellent opportunity for a Design Engineer / Mechanical Engineer with some experience of cathodic protection to work at the forefront of the UKs next-generation energy infrastructure.
Cathodic Protection Design Engineer Responsibilities:
Working on high pressure pipeline and plant systems projects.
Providing project control from initial approval through to commissioning and handover.
Preparing project plans to ensure work is carried out in accordance with client requirements.
Providing engineering designs, ensuring good engineering practices are maintained.
Undertake cathodic protection site surveys and provide analysis of findings within technical reports.
Apply professional engineering principles, judgement, and innovative thinking to design projects.
Your background as a Cathodic Protection Design Engineer:
Previous experience in of working within the gas transmission or plant systems or a similar regulated industry sector.
Some experience of working on engineering projects that involve cathodic protection or a knowledge and understanding of cathodic protection combined with mechanical engineering would be advantageous.
You will be degree qualified (2:1 and above classification) in aMechanical Engineering, or related Engineering discipline.
