- 5+ years of automotive Catia V5 design experience
- Experience with body structures (BIW / Panels)
- Knowledge of aluminium extrusions
- A positive, proactive and flexible mindset
- Basic mechanical, material and production knowledge
- Fluency in English
- Good level of technical capability, including familiarity with body structure construction methods and materials, such as metals and plastics
- Awareness of component manufacturing techniques, including casting, pressing, extrusion, joining, and fastening methods
- Experience in delivery of engineering releases
- Complex assembly experience
- Ability to work proactively and independently
- Engineering and/or development experience of electric vehicles
- Ability to aid design decisions and issue resolution
- Great attention to detail and an attitude to produce 'right first time' quality work
- Good understanding of mechanical design requirements for typical automotive applications, e.g., fastening systems, sealing solutions, and manufacturing techniques
- Understanding of DFMEA and risk assessment techniques in the automotive environment
- PC literate and at ease with MS Office products
