Job summary

White Label is seeking a Design Engineer for a Bradford-based specialist engineering business. You will lead the design of bespoke machinery from concept through to commissioning, creating detailed 3D models, drawings and BOMs while collaborating with customers and internal teams.

Proficiency in SolidWorks is highly desirable; AutoCAD experience is a plus. A strong grasp of fabrication, machining and CE/UKCA considerations will support successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience designing bespoke machinery and equipment.
• Experience with conveyors, robotics, and structural frames.
• Strong understanding of fabrication, machining and assembly.
• SolidWorks proficiency is highly desirable.
• AutoCAD experience is desirable.
• Knowledge of CE/UKCA machinery requirements and risk assessments is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop machinery and equipment to meet customer specifications.
• Create 3D models, manufacturing drawings, and assembly drawings.
• Design conveyor systems, robotic integrations, and machine frames.
• Produce BOMs and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with fabrication and machining teams to ensure manufacturability.
• Support projects from concept through commissioning.
• Participate in design reviews and implement improvements.
