Design Engineer - Woking - £32,000 to £40,000 plus benefits

Melbreck Technical is working with a leading designer and manufacturer of specialist electro-mechanical equipment that is used globally in a multitude of different industries including ones that are safety critical.

They have had a fantastic start to 2025. They are now looking to secure a Design Engineer to join them permanently, to bolster their technical capability and work on cutting-edge product designs.

Design Engineer - Role Overview:

The design engineer is key in contributing to developing the Company’s business by designing high-quality products and providing accurate technical data for use internally and externally.

Responsibilities:

1. Acquire a thorough understanding of the Company’s technology and products.
2. Keep up-to-date with related, external technologies.
3. Design & develop high-quality products that meet the customers’ technical/commercial requirements taking into account appropriate risk analysis.
4. Produce and maintain accurate technical data/drawings for internal and external use.
5. Organise the process of testing/certification of selected products.

Design Engineer - Hours and Benefits:

08:30 to 17:00 Mon-Fri

Salary of £32,000 to £40,000 D.O.E

Excellent yearly bonus scheme
