Design Engineer (CAD Technician/Draftsperson/Product Design)

Didcot, Oxfordshire

£40,000 - £45,000 + Pension + Enhanced Holiday + Bank Holidays + Private Healthcare + Bonus +Additional Birthday Leave

Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm (onsite)

Design Engineer required for a well established and award winning manufacturer of luxury products. The role will suit those seeking a collaborative team based environment where you can add value to the company.

To apply for the role, you need to have experience in producing CAD drawings using SolidWorks. Although a product design or related degree is preferred, this isn’t an essential requirement if you have extensive on the job experience .

You will be responsible for producing detailed engineering CAD drawing for manufacturing, working closely with the Concept Designer, Production Manager and associated teams throughout.

The role will suit Design Engineers looking for a unique, creative and fast growing business. The company has an impressive facility in a rural setting consisting of the workshop, welding/fabrication production area, offices and gardens.

The Design Engineer Role in Brief:
• Create 3D CAD drawings for engineering and manufacturing projects
• Liaise with production to ensure designs meet manufacturing requirements
• Work closely with the concept designer
• Collaborate with sales and manufacturing to secure complex solutions

The Design Engineer Required:
