Job summary

Kintec Global Recruitment is seeking a Design Engineer for a permanent role based in Manchester. The successful candidate will produce OLE design drawings and related documentation, and support the design of railway electrification systems across projects.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs meet Network Rail standards, client specifications, and best practice, while contributing to design reviews and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Around 2 years' experience in OLE design within UK rail.
• Knowledge of Network Rail standards and design processes.
• Experience with industry-standard OLE design software.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Working towards Incorporated or Chartered Engineer status preferred.
