An excellent opportunity for an experienced Design Engineer to join our expanding engineering company, working within the rubber and plastics industry, worldwide.

Salary DOE upto £50k

8am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday.

8am - 3pm on Fridays.

Plenty of overtime is available and candidate will need to be open to also working shifts (including night shifts)

Responsibilities

• Machinery design - concept to commission
• 2D & 3D CAD - SolidWorks
• Heavy machinery sector, Rollers, Rotary parts etc.
• Sheet metal, Machining’s, Heavy fabricated parts
• Tolerancing
• Gears and Drives
• Knowledge of Hydraulic and Pneumatics
• Design calculations
• Fitting, assembly and commissioning

Qualifications

• 5 years experience (negotiable)
• HNC / Advanced apprenticeship / Time-served engineer
