Design Engineer

Stoke-on-Trent (Commutable from: Newcastle-under-Lyme, Congleton, Crewe, Stafford, Leek, Biddulph, Stone, Uttoxeter and surrounding areas)

Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer with SolidWorks experience looking to join an established manufacturer offering specialist training, technical development and a great work-life balance with an early Friday finish? This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading manufacturer of bespoke industrial products, where you will work on varied design projects from initial customer concepts through to manufacturing and production. The company are a multi-million pound manufacturer supplying specialist engineered heating products to a range of industries. Due to continued development, they are looking to add a Technical Engineer to their Design team. In this Monday-Friday role, you will be responsible for producing 3D CAD models and manufacturing drawings, supporting new product development, preparing technical specifications and working closely with production and sales teams. This role would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer, Technical Engineer or Product Design Engineer with looking for a varied position within a stable and growing manufacturing business.

The Role:

• Monday-Friday, days-based role with an early Friday finish.
• Design and development of bespoke manufactured products.
• Produce 3D models and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.

The Person:

• Mechanical Design, Technical Design or Product Engineering experience.
• Manufacturing or product development background.
• Commutable to Stoke-on-Trent.

The salary advertised is the bracket available for this position. The actual salary paid will be dependent on your level of experience, qualifications and skill set and will be decided by our client, the employer.
