Job summary

Our Client delivers offshore engineering solutions across oil, gas and energy transition projects. The role focuses on mechanical design across topside and subsea projects, delivering robust concepts through to detailed engineering and design packs for third‑party approval.

You will lead design activities, produce calculations and drawings, and present reviews to stakeholders while ensuring timely delivery and compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

  • Relevant engineering qualification and proven engineering experience.
  • Strong mechanical design experience within an offshore environment.
  • Experience across topside and subsea projects.
  • Mechanical and structural 2D and 3D CAD capability.
  • Strong design calculation, analytical and FEA skills.
  • Experience preparing and presenting design packs for third‑party approval.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to project teams.
  • Strong focus on quality, deadlines, research and continuous improvement.
  • Unfettered right to work in the UK.

Job description

Design complex offshore engineering solutions that make a real difference across the global energy industry.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to deliver mechanical design solutions across topside and subsea offshore projects. You will work on technically challenging projects spanning oil and gas, decommissioning, carbon capture, renewables and hydrogen.

You will have the autonomy to develop concepts into robust engineering solutions while collaborating with experienced project and engineering teams.
