Job summary

A leading fire protection specialist in Northern Ireland is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Design Engineer. The role involves ensuring compliance with client requirements, conducting site surveys, and working closely with the project team. Ideal candidates will have LPCB Basic, proficiency in Auto Cad 2D, and at least 5 years of experience in the sprinkler industry. Competitive salary between £50k - £70k plus company car offered.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience within Sprinkler Industry.
  • Experience of carrying out site surveys and attending client meetings.
  • CSCS Card desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure clients' requirements are met at all times.
  • Complete designs on time and to technical standards.
  • Carry out site surveys prior to design.

Overview

Venatu Recruitment are proud to announce that a new client of ours who are specialists within the Fire Protection industry are now looking for a Fire Sprinkler Design Engineer to join them as soon as possible! They pride themselves of being a leading figure within the industry offering several different Fire Protection & Sprinkler services such as design, fabrication, installation and commission for residential, commercial and industrial applications.

They are one of the most established in their field having been trading for almost 40 years with a consistent focus on delivering the highest quality service which has earned them an enviable reputation of being the best in the business within the industry. Due to consistent growth and expansion they are now looking for a Fire Sprinkler Design Engineer to join them ASAP!

This is a full-time role paying between £50k - £70k + Company Car.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure clients/ insurers requirements are adhered to at all times.
  • Work closely with the project team to ensure designs are completed and on time and to the technical submissions standard.
  • Be involved in drawing and calculations to ensure compliance within the relevant fire sprinkler system standards.
  • Comply relevant documents to tender works from a client\'s initial inquiry.
  • Carry out site surveys prior to design, collating the required information.
  • Complete ISO-9001 paperwork relating to projects.
Qualifications
  • LPCB Basic - mandatory
  • LPCB intermediate or LPCB FHC - not essential but would be an advantage
  • Auto Cad 2D (essential)
  • Experience of carrying out site surveys, attending client meetings and site installations
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience within Sprinkler Industry
  • CSCS Card desirable but not essential
  • Customer care/relationship building skills
  • Able to work as a member of a team
  • Able to work without direct supervision
  • Able to conduct surveys on site.
  • Able to deal directly with customers in a professional manner and represent the company
  • UK driving license; this position is primarily office based but with travel being a significant part of completing the role.
