Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Design Engineering role.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD LT, SolidWorks, or similar packages.
• Ideally, experience with CFD simulation.

Responsibilities

• Design of company products for projects ranging from GBP 2,000 to GBP 2 million.
• Completing designs within relevant regulations and standards.
• Producing initial 2D layout drawings for client discussion and approval.
• Creating 3D manufacturing models for fabrication and installation.
• Completing full design packages including BOMs, design specifications, installation detail drawings, and post-installation as-built documentation.
• Liaising with the projects team to keep them updated throughout the process.

Monday to Thursday, 9am to 5pm, Fridays, 9am to 4pm.

Design Engineer required for a successful manufacturing engineering organisation that provides niche designs to their clients. The company is expanding and needs staff to join their growing team.

Candidates should have 2D and 3D experience, ideally with AutoCAD LT and SolidWorks or similar packages.

The Design Engineer Role
