Design Engineer

You'll be working on a variety of custom material handling solutions, liaising directly with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality designs tailored to specific needs. Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with customers to understand specifications and develop tailored solutions
Lead the design process for bespoke equipment using 3D CAD software
Provide technical guidance and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Manage projects from concept through to final delivery
Produce technical documentation, including detailed drawings and specifications
Collaborate across departments to ensure project goals and deadlines are met
Ideal Candidate:

Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
Proven experience in a design engineering role (ideally within material handling or similar)
Skilled in using 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for customer collaboration
Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Creative and confident in developing bespoke engineering solutions
Understanding of manufacturing processes and materials
