Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited are recruiting a Control Panel Designer in Newtownabbey to join a leading Building Management Systems specialist. You will design bespoke BMS control panels from customer specifications and produce electrical schematics using CAD software.

Collaboration with mechanical and electrical contractors will ensure on-time delivery and manufacturing-ready drawings. The ideal candidate has electrical design experience and hands-on CAD skills with EPLAN, WSCAD or Promis.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical design for control panels and BMS schematics.
• Background in BMS, HVAC, Process Control, or control panels.
• Proficient with CAD packages such as EPLAN, WSCAD, or Promis.

Responsibilities

• Design bespoke BMS control panels from customer requirements.
• Produce electrical schematics using CAD software.
• Liaise with mechanical and electrical contractors through projects.
• Create manufacturing-ready electrical drawings.
• Support panel testing, fault finding, and technical problem solving.
