Job summary

KBM Resourcing is seeking a Design Draughtsperson for an established Aberdeen-based engineering company. You will use Solidworks to design and develop components across Oil & Gas, Subsea and Industrial sectors, hitting the ground running in a busy drawing office.

Key responsibilities include reporting to the Drawing Office Manager, adhering to drawing office standards, performing product design tasks with Solidworks, and contributing to improvements across design, manufacturing and testing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Design Draughtsperson
• Solidworks proficiency required
• Exposure to manufacturing environments
• Experience with stress calculations
• Engineering qualifications preferred

Skills and Education

• Strong experience with Solidworks (essential)
• 5+ years of experience in a Design Draughtsperson role.
• Manufacturing organisation exposure.
• Familiar with stress calculations.
• Engineering qualifications (preferable).
