Design Director (Environmental Graphics)

£60–65k | London | Hybrid (3 days studio)

A multidisciplinary creative studio — known for using design and art to transform space — is looking for a Design Director to join their London team. With studios in both London and New York, their work spans installations, workplace design, large-scale environmental graphics and public art, always with a strong conceptual and story-led approach.
This role sits at the heart of the creative team, working closely with the Creative Director to shape thinking, lead projects and guide designers through concept and execution. It would suit either an experienced Design Director or a strong Senior Designer ready to step up.

Ideal candidates will bring:
– A portfolio that shows experience across environmental graphics, workplace design, installations, wayfinding and place branding
– A strong eye for how 2D graphics translate in 3D space
– Proven experience managing permanent team members (even if just one)
– The confidence to lead and present ideas, balanced with a collaborative and grounded mindset
– The ability to juggle creative ambition with budget and time constraints
The role involves input across multiple workstreams, from early concept through to production and delivery. A strategic and practical thinker who enjoys shaping creative direction while getting into the detail will thrive here.

Salary: £60–65k

Hybrid working: Tues–Thurs in studio (Mon/Fri remote)
Benefits include private healthcare, pension, extended holiday allowance, creative development time and enhanced parental policies.
