Job Description:

EDEN UK is seeking a Design Development Engineer to join their team. The role involves creating engineering solutions aligned with Eden's manufacturing and outsourcing capabilities, incorporating customer requirements, and demonstrating an understanding of retail and consumer insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with customers and account managers to understand design briefs and ensure deliverables meet quality and time standards.
• Convert design briefs into engaging and functional design solutions under tight deadlines.
• Support the sales team and other departments to meet customer design needs.
• Create innovative design solutions that exceed customer expectations.
• Manage the entire project/prototype process, including customer approval and production.
• Coordinate with internal teams and customers to meet project timelines and specifications.
• Maintain a design development tracker to ensure deadlines are met.
• Share best practices in design development.
• Travel nationally and internationally as required.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proficiency in INVENTOR or similar CAD software (3-5 years preferred).
• Experience with mixed materials such as metal, timber, plastic, glass, and graphics.
• Proven ability to produce high-quality, accurate CAD drawings.
• Strong planning, organization, and communication skills.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Good time management and workload prioritization.
• Positive attitude, energetic, team-oriented, and ambitious.
• Self-motivated and solution-focused.
• Confident in articulating engineering design ideas.

Location: Candidates should reside within a commutable distance from Wellingborough or Aberdare sites.
