About the Role

Our client is looking for a proactive and detail-driven Design Coordinator with a strong joinery background to join their growing interiors team. You'll play a key role in turning creative concepts into buildable solutions across a range of high-end commercial fit-out projects - from bespoke bar counters to luxury hotel receptions and everything in between.

You'll bridge the gap between design, production, and site, ensuring every detail is coordinated, practical, and beautifully executed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate design intent with internal teams, architects, and subcontractors.
  • Review joinery/shop drawings for accuracy, buildability, and spec compliance.
  • Manage drawing revisions, approvals, and document control.
  • Attend client/site meetings to ensure alignment between vision and execution.
  • Support procurement with accurate material/specification info.

About You:

  • Solid background in joinery or bespoke furniture design.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specs.
  • Excellent communication skills across design and delivery teams.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and ideally 3D software (e.g. SketchUp, SolidWorks, Revit).
  • Practical knowledge of manufacturing and installation processes.
