GRAHAM Construction - Design Coordinator (Junior Role)

GRAHAM Construction is seeking a proactive Design Coordinator to join our Building Division. This junior role is ideal for candidates with a degree in Architecture or Construction Management and some experience in design coordination. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth coordination of design activities across our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design Coordination:
  • Coordinate design activities between architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure all design work aligns with project requirements, timelines, and budgets.
  • Assist in managing the flow of design information and maintain communication among all parties involved.
  • Documentation Management:
    • Oversee the organization and distribution of project documentation.
    • Ensure all design documents are accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible to the project team.
  • Quality Control:
    • Conduct reviews of design documents to ensure quality and compliance with project standards.
    • Assist in identifying and resolving design-related issues.
  • Project Support:
    • Provide support during the tender process by coordinating the preparation of design documentation.
    • Assist in developing design briefs and specifications.
  • Site Coordination:
    • Conduct regular site visits to monitor the implementation of design solutions.
    • Coordinate with the site team to address any design-related queries or issues.

    Qualifications & Skills:

    • Degree in Architecture or Construction Management.
    • Some experience in design coordination or a related role.
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and project management tools.
    • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
