JOB: CAD Design Engineer

LOCATION: Blackpool

TERM: Permanent

SALARY: GBP 35,000 : GBP 45,000 per annum, dependent on experience

My client designs, manufactures and installs specialist metal products. They are looking to take on a CAD Dessign Engineer on a permanent basis in Blackpool.

The CAD Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

: 2:4 years' experience in a similar CAD Operation / Design Engineering / Mechanical Engineering position

: Be proficient using 3D CAD software (Prefferably Inventor and Revit).

: Any previous experience working with bespoke metalwork, stainless steel, fabricated parts or similar would be beneficial

: Any previous experience of working with a variety of materials and manufacturing processes would be beneficial

: Have a positive outlook and keen willingness to learn

: Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

: Proficient using MS Office

: Excellent organisational skills and time management skills

: Have the ability to work well alone as well as part of a small multi:disciplinary team

: Have a full UK Driving Licence and access to a car

The CAD Design Engineer Role Will Involve

: Working within the current engineering team with other Design Engineers

: Producing 3D designs using Autodesk Inventor and Revit

: Liaising with manufacturing providers

: Being involved in final assembly of products

: Creating the required documentation for design as well as project reports / plans

: Updating 3D models and drawings

: Inputting parts into the MRP system creating BOMs

: Checking drawings for sign off

: Working in a small multi:disciplinary team on varied projects
