A children's publishing company is seeking a Design Assistant to support the design team in London. This full-time position offers an opportunity to work with experienced designers on children's books. Responsibilities include admin support and design tasks, with a focus on illustrations and creating sales materials. A diverse range of perks is available, including hybrid work options and design experience is not required.
We’re looking for a creative,committed and organised Design Assistant to work on our full-colour list, with a focus on picture books and pre-school.
Nosy Crow is a multi-award winning, independent children’s publishing company with operations in both the UK and the USA. We make child-focused, parent-friendly children’s books for ages 0-12.

This is a full-time position and is a hybrid role, working a minimum of three days per week in our office near to London Bridge.
The role would report to the Art Director for Picture Books and key responsibilities and tasks would include admin and design support working on reissues, reprints, Americanisations and the creation of sales materials. This role represents a great opportunity to learn about illustrated children’s book design from the ground up and from world-class practitioners.
No prior publishing experience is necessary in order to apply for the role.
The starting salary for this role is £27,000.
