Job summary

Architecture Social invites applications for a Residential Design Architect to join our London studio, delivering design-led residential developments and urban regeneration schemes. You will shape schemes from concept through planning and developed design, coordinating with a collaborative team.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years' PQE, strong residential portfolio, and expertise in Revit and BIM workflows, with solid knowledge of UK planning requirements. Sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• ARB registered Architect with 3-5 years' post-qualification experience.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Strong portfolio of built or planning-stage residential projects.
• Experience on large-scale residential developments and urban regeneration schemes.
• Experience on High Risk Building projects.
• Knowledge of current UK legislation, regulations, and residential design guidance.
• Experience using rendering, visualisation, and presentation software.
• Excellent presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience on Prime Central London projects would be highly advantageous.
• Right to live and work in the UK; sponsorship is not possible.

Responsibilities

• Develop design proposals for large-scale residential and mixed-use projects.
• Contribute to projects from concept through planning and design development stages.
• Prepare compelling presentations, visualisations, and client-facing design material.
• Produce and coordinate project information using Revit and BIM workflows.
• Collaborate with internal design teams, consultants, and stakeholders to resolve design challenges.
• Ensure schemes respond effectively to planning requirements, current legislation, and design standards.
• Support the delivery of High Risk Building projects, maintaining compliance throughout the design process.
• Present design ideas confidently in internal reviews, client meetings, and design workshops.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Residential Design Architect to join a highly respected London studio renowned for delivering design-led residential developments and transformative urban regeneration projects. Working as part of a collaborative team, you will contribute to the design and development of landmark schemes across Central London and wider mixed-use regeneration masterplans.

This role is ideal for an ambitious architect with 3-5 years' post-qualification experience who is passionate about residential design and thrives in a creative and supportive environment. You will play a key role in shaping high-quality design proposals from concept through planning and developed design stages, helping to create places that make a lasting impact.

• Develop creative and technically robust design proposals for large-scale residential and mixed-use projects
• Contribute to projects from concept design through planning and design development stages
• Prepare compelling presentations, visualisations, and client-facing design material
• Produce and coordinate project information using Revit and BIM workflows
• Collaborate with internal design teams, consultants, and stakeholders to resolve design challenges

Requirements:

• Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Previous experience on Prime Central London residential projects would be highly advantageous
