Design and Technology Technician - Popular Secondary school located in the Hillingdon borough

Smart Teachers is pleased to be working with this popular co-educational secondary school located in the borough of Hillingdon. The school are looking to appoint a Design and Technology Technician asap on a permanent basis.

Overview

The ideal candidate would be competent in the set-up, use and maintenance of workshop equipment and machinery, new technologies such as laser cutting and 3D printing and art processes. It will involve preparing resources and equipment for lessons: hard materials (woods, metals and plastics), as well as maintaining machinery and ordering supplies. A knowledge of basic engineering and/or mechanics would be highly advantageous. The working hours are Monday to Thursday 8am-3.45pm and Friday 8am-3.30pm.
