Job summary

Job description

Larkmead School is seeking applications for the role as a technician to support within our Design and Technology Faculty. The successful candidate will have prior experience of working in this type of environment, although this need not necessarily have been in a school. Flexibility, patience, and a polite manner are a must for the post-holder. This role is term time only, for 15 hours per week, 8am - 1pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday plus some inset days.

The role will involve assisting and supporting the teaching and learning of different areas within the Design and Technology faculty to ensure learners’ make progress. More specifically: cleaning and maintenance of equipment; administrative support with regard to health & safety; sourcing and preparing equipment and tools; assisting and guiding students during lessons.
