Location: Bury – Thriving Secondary School

Pay: £150–£230 per day (based on experience & qualifications)

Start Date: September 2025

Contract: Long term/Full Time

We’re seeking a dynamic Design and Technology Teacher to join a well-respected secondary school in Bury. Whether you're an experienced teacher or newly qualified, this is your chance to shape the next generation of makers, creators, and innovators.


The Role – Design & Technology Teacher
  1. Deliver engaging, hands-on DT lessons to Key Stage 3 & 4 students
  2. Inspire creativity and problem-solving through classroom, group, and 1:1 teaching
  3. Join a supportive and forward-thinking staff team
  4. Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
  5. Enjoy competitive daily pay: £150–£230, based on experience
What We’re Looking For
  1. QTS, PGCE, or a relevant Design Technology degree
  2. A passion for your subject and a commitment to student success
  3. Confidence in leading lessons across different settings
  4. An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one via Smile Education)
  5. Enthusiastic, positive, and a team player
