Design and Technology Teacher | Camden | ASAP Start, London

We are seeking a creative and dedicated Design and Technology Teacher to join an Outstanding mixed school in Camden, London, starting as soon as possible for a temporary, full-time position. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering students' design thinking and practical skills.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging Design and Technology lessons covering various design and manufacturing processes.
  • Prepare students for projects and assessments.
  • Develop students' design thinking and practical skills.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the development of DT resources.
  • Organise and lead design and technology-related extracurricular activities.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Design and Technology.
  • Proven experience teaching design and technology at secondary level.
  • Strong technical and practical skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Inner London Payscale.
  • Opportunities to support educational visits and access to Educational Support.
  • A two-week October half term and a long weekend in November.
