Job Description:

An Outstanding mixed school in Brent seeks a dynamic Design and Technology Teacher to join their design and technology department. You'll inspire students to develop their creative and practical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging Design and Technology lessons, covering a range of materials and techniques.
  • Prepare students for examinations and assessments.
  • Develop students' design thinking, problem-solving, and manufacturing skills.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Contribute to the development of the design and technology curriculum and resources.
  • Organise and lead design and technology-related extracurricular activities, such as robotics clubs and design competitions.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Design and Technology.
