About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Design and Technology Teacher to join an Independent school in Brent, starting ASAP for a temporary, full-time position. The successful Design and Technology Teacher will deliver engaging DT lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective Design and Technology Teacher lessons, covering a range of design and manufacturing processes.
  • Prepare students for projects and assessments.
  • Develop students' design thinking and practical skills.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the development of DT resources.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Design and Technology.
  • Proven experience in teaching design and technology at secondary level.
  • Strong technical and practical skills.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Inner London Payscale.
