Are you a creative and enthusiastic Design and Technology Teacher ready to inspire the next generation of innovators, engineers, and designers?

Tradewind Recruitment are working with an excellent secondary school in Liverpool who are seeking a passionate DT Teacher to join their successful Technology department on a full-time, long-term basis.

The Role:
  • Deliver engaging Design and Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Teach a range of DT disciplines - such as Product Design, Resistant Materials, Graphics, or Engineering (depending on your specialism)
  • Plan and prepare creative, practical lessons that promote hands-on learning
  • Maintain high standards of classroom management and health & safety in workshops
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Contribute to curriculum development and extra-curricular STEM or design projects
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Design and Technology in UK secondary schools
  • Specialism in Product Design, Resistant Materials, or Engineering desirable
  • Strong understanding of health & safety in workshops
  • Ability to inspire creativity, innovation, and independent learning
  • Must have the Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold a Child-Only Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply through Tradewind Recruitment
