Job Title: Design & Technology (DT) Teacher

Location: Bury, Greater Manchester

Start Date: ASAP

We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Design & Technology Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Bolton on a temporary, full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver engaging DT lessons in a supportive and well-equipped department.

The successful candidate will be confident teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 DT, with a focus on practical, hands-on learning across areas such as Product Design, Resistant Materials, or Graphics (depending on expertise).

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver inspiring DT lessons in line with the national curriculum

Promote creativity, innovation, and technical skills in the classroom

Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback

Support departmental initiatives and contribute to the wider school community

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification

Have experience teaching Design & Technology at secondary level

Be confident in classroom and behaviour management

Be adaptable, enthusiastic, and committed to student success

Be available to start immediately or very soon
