Are you a creative and adaptable Design and Technology teacher ready to take on an exciting long-term role in Marston Green?

The School and Role

ABC Teachers is currently recruiting a committed and skilled Design and Technology Supply Teacher for a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Marston Green. This long-term position is to begin as soon as possible, with the potential to continue into the next academic year. You will be delivering high-quality Design and Technology lessons to pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4, covering a range of topics such as Resistant Materials, Product Design, and potentially Food Technology. The ability to teach multiple DT disciplines is highly desirable for this flexible role. Situated in the heart of Marston Green, this is a well-regarded and community-focused secondary school known for its supportive leadership team, well-resourced DT department, and strong commitment to developing both staff and students. The school promotes creativity, independent thinking, and practical learning in a safe and stimulating environment.

Requirements

The successful Design and Technology Teacher will have;

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
• Experience teaching Design and Technology (KS3–KS5)
• Willingness to teach elements of Food Technology where required
• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
• Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
• All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
