Clark Design Group is seeking a versatile and analytical coordinator to join our dynamic interior design team. The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of business processes, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work across various departments to drive business improvements. This role involves supporting project teams, sales, and design functions to ensure the successful execution of projects and overall business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Team Focused:
· Project Processing: Manage and streamline project workflows, ensuring efficient processing, efficiently moving projects from stage to stage and boundary to boundary, assisting the project teams in successfully reaching project milestones on time and assisting in reviewing milestones with continued business justification, assisting the wider teams to complete projects from initiation to completion.
·Purchasing: Oversee the procurement of product, materials and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
·Reconciling: Perform financial reconciliations to ensure accuracy in project budgets and expenditures.
·Project Briefing Documents: Prepare detailed project briefing documents within our tech platforms to guide design and project teams.
·Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis on various metrics, including average order value (AOV), profit, gross margin (GM) percentage, markup %, and true cost.
·Sales and Introducers: Track and analyze sales performance, including contributions from introducers and referral sources.
·Team Collaboration: Work closely with the design and project teams to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
·Training: Provide training and support to team members on project management tools, processes and tech development/usage and best practices to ensure betterment is achieved in our staff’s output.
·Client Facing: Engage with clients to gather requirements, provide updates, ensuring good rapport is created and client satisfaction achieved.
Sales Support:
·Overall Sales Support: Assist the sales team with various tasks, including preparing presentations, quotations, proposals, briefs, and pitch documents.
·Analysis: Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
·CRM Management and Reporting: Maintain and update the CRM system to ensure statuses and notes are live and correct, generating reports to support sales activities.
·Case Studies & Testimonials: Develop case studies and gather client testimonials to support sales efforts.
·Training: Provide training to the sales team on tools, processes, and best practices.
·Client Facing: Participate in client meetings and presentations to support the sales team.
Design:
·Product & Supplier Support: Assist the design team with product and supplier research, ensuring the selection of high-quality materials and services.
·Training: Provide training to the design team on new products, suppliers, and industry trends.
·Client Facing: Engage with clients to understand their design preferences and provide expert advice.
Qualifications:
·Education: A degree in Business Administration, Management, Interior Design, or a related field is desirable but not essential.
·Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years' experience in a business role, preferably within the interior design industry but not essential.
·Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques, good IT skills with a propensity for tech solutions, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
· Personal Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, highly motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

You will be required to work from our offices in Chalfont St Giles, our London offices, remotely either from home or elsewhere, or at one of our project sites with a good degree of flexibility.
