Job summary

We are expanding our Capability Development team and seeking experienced Design and Certification Engineers. This role involves contributing to significant aircraft conversion programs within the UK CAA Part 21J Design Organisation.

Key skills required for this role

Design, Part 21, Certification

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on aircraft and mission system modification projects.
• Ensure compliance with civil or military airworthiness regulations.
• Manage certification programs and documentation.
• Possess extensive knowledge in areas such as structures, mission systems, or avionics.
• Design and integrate complex projects on aircraft.
• Understand Part 21, CS/FAR 23 and 25 regulations.
• Compile, check, and verify certification documentation.
• Experience with King Air, Piper PA-31, 727, 757 aircraft.
• Understanding of DAOS and possibly AS9100 standards.

Management/Leadership

• Mid to senior level role involving project management and leadership.
• Coordinate projects from inception to service release.
• Manage project teams to meet deadlines and budgets.

Location

• Based at our main site in Doncaster, with potential for hybrid working.
