Job summary

Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a replacement, full-time Specialty Doctor in Dermatology. The role is based at the NNUH and Cromer Hospital with a varied mix of general dermatology, skin cancer clinics, minor surgery, and teaching responsibilities.

The post involves on-call duties and supervision of clinics with Core trainees. A GMC registration and MBBS qualification are required, and a path to portfolio-based development is supported.

Qualifications

• Full GMC Registration on application.
• MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
• MRCP (UK) Part 1 or equivalent.
• MRCP (UK) Part 2/Full MRCP UK (as applicable).
• Equivalence for overseas training as needed.

Responsibilities

• Attend 10 clinical sessions per week, including outpatient clinics.
• Work with Core trainees on inpatient care when needed.
• Participate in on-call/acute dermatology rota and emergencies.
• Teach undergraduate medical students and contribute to seminars.
• Undertake audit and annual appraisal; portfolio pathway possible.
