Nottingham University Hospitals NHS seeks a dermatology clinician to work with the consultant team, delivering direct patient care and participating in in-hours on-call duties.

The role includes involvement in care-pathway development, research, audit and teaching, with a dedicated mentor to help you acclimate. The timetable features general dermatology, skin cancer clinics, MDT sessions and opportunities for subspecialist lists.

Qualifications

• GMC registration is essential.
• Licence to practice in the UK is essential.
• Minimum of 5 years of post-registration experience.
• Minimum of 12 months paid dermatology employment in the UK.
• Demonstrated audit or research activity.
• Ability to perform basic dermatology surgery including simple excisions.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct clinical care within the Dermatology, alongside the consultant team.
• Participate in the Dermatology 'in-hours' on-call rota.
• Contribute to care-pathway development, research, audit and teaching.
• Attend MDT and peer education sessions; mentor junior staff.
• Engage in service development and ongoing departmental processes.
