Job summary
Circle Integrated Care in Wolverhampton seeks a Clinical Services Manager to lead the dermatology service, provide clinical governance and mentor staff. The role requires senior dermatology experience and autonomous decision-making.
Full-time; 37.5 hours weekly with flexible shifts. Part-time considered. NMC-registered nurse with dermatology qualifications and leadership experience are essential.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
- Degree in Nursing or equivalent demonstrable experience at this level.
- Specialist post-registration qualification in Dermatology.
- Non-Medical Prescriber qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience at Band 7 or above within dermatology services.
- Advanced clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Experience leading and managing clinical teams.
- Evidence of continuous professional development and application of research into practice.
Responsibilities
- Act as an expert practitioner with advanced clinical knowledge in dermatology services.
- Exercise advanced clinical judgement in assessment, diagnosis, treatment and management of complex dermatology cases.
- Lead the dermatology service alongside the Lead Doctor.
- Provide clinical leadership, mentorship and support to nursing and non‑medical staff.
- Contribute to clinical governance through audit, research and quality improvement.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and leadership in multidisciplinary teams.
