Job summary

Bupa Dermatology in Cheadle is seeking an experienced RGN to join our clinic team. You will deliver dermatology nursing care, participate in assessments, plans and evaluations, and support patient care across various clinic sessions.

The role requires NMC registration, a nursing degree, and substantial post-registration experience in clinical settings. You will work 40 hours weekly, Monday to Saturday, with a competitive salary and benefits in a patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Nurse registered with the NMC and current practicing status.
• Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent e.g., Nursing Degree.
• Significant post-registration nursing experience in dermatology or clinical settings.
• Experience with patient databases and documentation.
• Phlebotomy and administration of drugs as prescribed by clinicians.
• Knowledge of clinical and pricing documentation.
• Excellent oral and written communication; patient care focused.
• Professional, confident and calm under pressure.
• Self-motivated and able to motivate others; good teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Support patient pathways in Dermatology and participate in treatment and monitoring.
• Supervise and demonstrate procedures for junior staff.
• Assist Dermatologists and Surgeons with dermatology procedures and skin care surgery.
• Plan and organise workload to meet clinic and patient needs.
• Ensure compliance with clinic policies and procedures.
• Assist in outpatient clinics and check referrals, results and x-rays.
• Support community dermatology clinics with education and resources.
• Perform full skin assessments, including dermoscopy where necessary.
• Provide nursing care including dressings and suture removal.
• Assist with examinations, procedures, and specimen collection.
• Support follow-up clinics (phototherapy, cryotherapy, PRP, patch testing).
• Assist with audits and triage of results and referrals.
