Job summary

Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Phototherapy Nurse to join the East Dermatology team at Waters Green Medical Centre, Macclesfield. The post is for 15 hours per week on a permanent basis, with duties including delivering phototherapy treatments and contributing to patient care pathways.

You will administer treatments, monitor patients, educate on care plans and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with UK registration.
• Ability to manage own clinic and caseload.
• Willingness to undertake dermatology and phototherapy training.
• Continuing professional development encouraged.
• Experience in phototherapy desirable.

Responsibilities

• Administer phototherapy treatments per clinical protocols.
• Monitor patients during and after treatment for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients on treatment plan, skincare, and phototherapy risks and benefits.
• Record treatment plans, cumulative doses and adverse events.
• Undertake regular risk assessments, audits and reviews.
